Overview
James Talarico is building a people-powered campaign across Texas — and volunteers from across the country are making the difference. This page serves as a guide for those traveling to Texas from out of state, what to know, resources, and how to plug into our highest priority activities.
Our #1 Priority: Knock Doors
The single most impactful thing you can do is knock on doors. We’re organizing “Block Walks” across five key regions every weekend through Election Day.
Join an Existing Block Walk Event
We have organized locations with trained staff, walk lists, printed materials, and water. This is the best experience for volunteers traveling from out of the state. You’ll be paired with local canvassers who know the area and can help you have the best conversations.
Weekends Are Best
Our biggest block walk operations run Saturday and Sunday each weekend. We’ll also have block walk operations available on March 2 and March 3. If you’re flying in, plan your trip around the weekend to make the most of your time on the ground.
What We Provide
Everything you need will be at the staging location. Here’s what we’re working with.
